Melissa Santillan is a proud life-long Rockford resident, mother of 3 sons, and grandmother. She is an educator at Tricoci University and licensed as a Cosmetologist, Cosmetologist Teacher, Barber, and Barber Teacher. Melissa was awarded the Tricoci University Educator of the Year.

As an entrepreneur, Melissa is a Barber/Stylist at Wolves Den Barbershop, platform artist, and the Host & Creator of the podcast series Unscripted with Melissa Santillan. She has served on the judging panel of several prominent Barber & Beauty events throughout the Midwest Region.

In 2021, Melissa was selected to be showcased in the Rockford Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Hispanic Heritage Spotlight. Furthermore, she is an active community leader, event coordinator, dedicated volunteer, and cultural advocate.
